Following the success of Karin Lambrecht’s exhibition 'Winter' in 2021, an upcoming exhibition publication will be published this spring.
The exhibition focused on the work which Lambrecht produced since her move to Broadstairs, a coastal town in east Kent, England in 2017. Lambrecht’s painting embodies the gestural abstraction of her 1980s Brazilian generation. The artist works with recurring motifs, often using poetic, handwritten words which emerge from layers of paint. The 'Winter' series of monochromatic ink in paper works, as well as a selection of gestural, colourful painting, speak of Lambrecht’s intuitive style and patient process.
