Works by Patricia Domínguez feature in Politics at the Kitchen Table: Nutrition in Contemporary Art at Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The exhibition examines the sociopolitical and ecological dimensions of food, connecting practices of nutrition with those of contemporary art. Considering both current and alternative agricultrual systems, it questions how we can eat responsibly, not only reducing the social injustices within food production and consumption, but also preserving and protecting the planet's resources for future generations.

Through a wide variety of media, Patricia Domínguez draws upon myths, symbols, rituals, and healing practices to combine artistic imagination with experimental, ethnobotanical research. She works with watercolours, ceramics, sculptural assemblages, and video installations to create shrine-like imagery. Her visual vocabulary spans from plant life and mass market goods, to corporate wellness schemes and the digital world.
