Untitled Art: Houston

18 - 21 September 2025
Overview

We are pleased to be participating in the inaugural edition of Untitled Art, Houston. We will present a group exhibition tracing the history of geometric abstraction in Latin American art: a syncretic visual language with multiple points of origin. In the 1950s, the influx of North American and European Concretism into Brazil’s museums and biennials engendered a dramatic shift in the trajectory of modernism, reverberating across the continent. Meanwhile, the living traditions of contemporary Indigenous communities and the enduring legacy of ancient cultures continue to inform and shape artistic sensibilities throughout South America.

Featuring work by Max Bill, Franz Weissmann, Luiz Sacilotto, José Pedro Costigliolo, Francisco Matto, Alejandro Corujeira, Claudia Alarcón, Francisco Valdés and Fran Chang.
