A trio of glasses and a larger vessel appear in a bold, synthetic palette with acid pinks set against saturated blues. Fine vertical striations traverse the surface like a visual equaliser, breaking the image into rhythmic pulses. Circular marks punctuate the composition, with one forming a shallow niche for a single penny and another holding an extended cork stopper converting the painting into a hybrid of image and object.
Here, refinement is deliberately unsettled. Crystal slips into pop. Luminosity becomes graphic. The smallest unit of currency assumes structural weight, acting as a compositional anchor and an emblem of the incidental remnants of everyday transactions—the loose change lingering inside someone’s pocket.
