Enrique Ramírez

Enrique Ramírez was born in Santiago in 1979.

Since 2007, he lives and works between Paris and Santiago.

The artist’s work combines video, photography, installations and poetic narratives. Ramírez’s video work Un hombre que camina is currently on display at the 57th Venice Biennale in VIVA ARTE VIVA, curated by Christine Macel.

Recent solo exhibitions include Museo Amparo, México; Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France; Musée des Beaux-Arts, Dunkerque, France and Museo de la Memoria, Santiago, Chile. Group exhibitions include CCA, Tel-Aviv, Israel; Kadist, San Franciso, USA; Jeu de Paume, Paris, France; Museo de Bellas Artes, Santiago, Chile and Centre Pomidou, Paris, France.

Ramírez’s work features in the following public collections: FRAC, Marseille, France; Kadist Foundation, San Francisco, USA; MACVA, Barcelona, Spain; FNAC, Paris, France; Collection Itaú Cultural (Sao Paulo) and the Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos, Santiago de Chile, as well as numerous private collections internationally.
