The gallery is excited to announce a period of renovation, in which we are creating a new, complementary space to support our mission. Alongside the main gallery we are building a project and reference room for Latin American art. We are proud to be partnering with architects Demian Erbar and Holger Mattes of Erbar Mattes Architects, who were respectively involved in the design and construction of the Stirling Prize nominated Hepworth Wakefield Gallery, and the RIBA Award winning Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in Margate.
Work on the project starts in November 2018. It will require a diminution in the artistic programme towards the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019. We will announce the forthcoming 2019 programme in January.
